Victoria's Secret?

Uh I haven't paid Victoria's Secret any attention since I left college and I definitely wouldn't consider their wares to be anything to run and shout about and would much rather spend my lingerie money on better made, more comfortable quality items. I can't hate on them though. They definitely were my store of choice for my earlier years and I used to stink to high heaven of Pear Glacee and those other loud, cloying scents of theirs. Those January and July sales were like panty raid time and filled my drawers with...yeah, drawers. And hey I can't hate on them fully becuz I did just buy some of that perfume and a cute lil purse for my baby sister there this Christmas. Quietly for some reason my mom likes Love Spell and I bought some of that over Christmas too...but it's not *my* steeze. Plus I make my own ALL NATURAL bath and body care products and scents so why would I slather my body with those chemicals. ADVERTISEMENT! HEY! RUM AND CAKE! DON'T BE ASHY! Lol.

Seriously though.....all that to say for some reason I clicked on their online catalog and was shocked to see some really cute dresses. Sure there's alot of cleave on some of them and some are too short that you best not drop anything that you absolutely NEED to pick up but just check out these couple of cuties that I found. Weekend Lover

It's Magic!

Someone has got to buy this Norma Kamali all-in-one versatile dress. It's amazing and cute and with the long sleeve *and* halter action, it is a definite not matter what the season. Of course it's an extra small, so uhm I have no use for it but if this is you...rejoice and buy becuz even this $63 price cant be beat!

I really do need a new necklace

And this is just simple and sweet enough for me. Plus I dont have to take it off whenever I wanna rock a lil gold or have gold buttons. Yes, mismatched details do really bother me....quietly though today I do have on my normal silver necklace and studs and gold buckles on my boots.

Pretty, Pretty Rings And Things

Normally, I don't really get excited over jewelry becuz I don't wear any- especially not rings. It all stems from me losing stuff so much as a youngster and having my favorite amethyst ring slip off my hand while clapping at a pep rally never to be seen again. And the final straw was my precious 'Black American Princess' charm and necklace falling off on my way into church...never to be seen again. How I'm Living

Currently, I am in love with turtlenecks and dresses worn simultaneously for a warm still cute look. I have a bunch of shifts and tunics that of course work with turtlenecks but I have discovered that the short sleeve and long sleeve dresses both look good with turtlenecks as well.
